Patient Guidance

First-time patients will be asked to complete an information
sheet. The doctor will then discuss your medical history and
perform a physical examination. After taking this history and
physical, the doctor will hold a consultation in his office to
answer questions and solve any problems. Of course, all
information will remain confidential, and no information will be
released without your written consent.

For our pregnant patients, you may wish to know that your
prenatal appointments will be arranged approximately every four
weeks during the first seven months and more frequently thereafter.
The nurse will see each pregnancy for the initial visit. You are urged
to keep your appointments. It is an established fact that good prenatal
care contributes much to the health of the mother and infant. Most
pregnancies are allowed to progress to forty-one weeks
(one week past the due date.) At forty-one weeks, patients
are induced because of increased risk to the infant.

For our gynecologic patients, your appointments will be
arranged at approximately six-month or twelve-month intervals
depending upon individual patient needs.
